This role is responsible for leading process optimization efforts, managing capital projects, and enhancing overall plant performance. The position focuses on identifying, developing, and implementing initiatives aimed at improving safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness throughout the facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement process improvement initiatives to boost operational efficiency, safety, and reliability.

  • Manage capital projects including defining scope, building business cases, overseeing execution, and documenting outcomes.

  • Partner with production teams to pinpoint inefficiencies and bottlenecks, applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to drive improvements.

  • Contribute to automation, digitalization, and data analytics projects to strengthen process insight and decision-making.

  • Prepare and present project proposals and justifications to senior management.

  • Collaborate across departments—including operations, maintenance, engineering, and business—to drive continuous improvement efforts.

  • Manage all change control processes (Management of Change) associated with improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure adherence to GMP, Process Safety Management (PSM), and relevant regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required.

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in process engineering, project management, or continuous improvement roles.

  • Demonstrated success in scoping, gaining approval for, and executing capital projects

  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks preferred.
