LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a reputable law firm to hire a Recovery and Mortgage Services Paralegal. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with experience in mortgage servicing, foreclosure, and recovery matters who is looking to join a collaborative legal team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mortgage-related legal processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This hybrid role offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with foreclosure, bankruptcy, and recovery-related legal matters
Draft and prepare legal documents including pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence
Manage case files and track deadlines for filings, hearings, and compliance requirements
Communicate with clients, lenders, courts, and government agencies regarding case status and documentation
Conduct legal research related to mortgage servicing and recovery regulations
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with firm and court procedures
Support attorneys with administrative tasks and billing as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience as a paralegal in mortgage services, foreclosure, or recovery law
Strong knowledge of legal procedures related to mortgage servicing and collections
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience working directly with clients and handling confidential information
