LHH is supporting one of our growing clients in their search for a new Senior Accountant

Position Title: Senior Accountant

Compensation:

• $100K-$125K + 10% bonus

Location:

This role is a hybrid role (3 days/week in office) in Portland, OR

Hours/Schedule:

Standard 40-45 hours with peak busy times/sprints up to 55-60 hours per week

Team Description:

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Corporate Finance Manager. The team also includes the Managing Director, Finance Manager, and 5 senior/staff accountants.

This job in a nutshell:

• Development of technical accounting policies and application of technical accounting guidance to complex business transactions.

• Financial statement preparation, consolidation and analysis

• Some pieces of month-end/period-end close and general ledger accounting

• Serving as point of contact for external auditors

• Exposure to M&A activities and related accounting

• Ad hoc projects including technical accounting research as necessary

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 4-6 years accounting experience

• Public accounting experience preferred

• CPA required

• Experience with ERP systems and strong excel skills

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional, deadline-driven environment
