LHH is working with a great company looking for a Workers Compensation Attorney in a fully remote role! This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-known company and make a significant impact.
Responsibilities:
Develop and revise legal strategies for discovery, investigation, handling, and trial/hearing of cases.
Handle discovery, hearings, depositions, oral arguments, mediations, arbitrations, and similar proceedings.
Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions.
Communicate and confer with Claims Representatives and Insured Clients.
Experience:
1+ years' experience as an attorney in workers compensation defense.
Experience with discovery, hearings, depositions, and oral arguments.
JD and in good standing with the state bar of California.
Role Details:
40 hours a week, 90-day contract with potential for extension.
Fully remote but must live and be barred in California.
Pay: $60 an hour.
