Location: Century City, CA
Hybrid Schedule three days in office, two days from home
LHH is partnering with a prestigious law firm in Century City to identify a skilled Legal Assistant to support a high-performing legal team. This is a new role as the firm is expanding its Los Angeles team!
About the Role
Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include document preparation, e-filing, calendar and travel coordination, expense reporting, and client communication. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, revise, and format legal documents with precision and timeliness
Coordinate e-filings in state and federal courts
Manage attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics
Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence and maintain organized client files
Support billing processes, including time entry and expense reimbursements
Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal departments
Maintain contact databases and assist with matter openings and closings
Qualifications
Required:
5+ years of experience in a litigation-focused legal administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and document management systems (e.g., iManage)
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
College or business school coursework
Prior experience in a law firm setting
Additional Details
Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days in-office per week
Salary range: $80,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
