Location: Century City, CA

Hybrid Schedule three days in office, two days from home

LHH is partnering with a prestigious law firm in Century City to identify a skilled Legal Assistant to support a high-performing legal team. This is a new role as the firm is expanding its Los Angeles team!

About the Role

Provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys and paralegals, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include document preparation, e-filing, calendar and travel coordination, expense reporting, and client communication. The position requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple priorities with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, revise, and format legal documents with precision and timeliness

  • Coordinate e-filings in state and federal courts

  • Manage attorney calendars, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics

  • Handle incoming/outgoing correspondence and maintain organized client files

  • Support billing processes, including time entry and expense reimbursements

  • Serve as a liaison between attorneys, clients, and internal departments

  • Maintain contact databases and assist with matter openings and closings

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in a litigation-focused legal administrative role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and document management systems (e.g., iManage)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

  • College or business school coursework

  • Prior experience in a law firm setting

Additional Details

  • Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days in-office per week

  • Salary range: $80,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience)
