We are hiring a Medical Collector for a contract opportunity with a respected healthcare provider in Los Angeles. This position supports the revenue cycle team in managing collections and resolving billing issues in a high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up on unpaid claims with commercial and government payers
- Investigate and resolve billing issues and denials
- Document collection efforts and maintain accurate records
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and providers
- 1–2 years of experience in medical collections or billing
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance processes
- Experience with billing platforms and Microsoft Office
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
