LHH is assisting a respected regional law firm in its search for an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its collaborative and high‑performing litigation practice. This role supports attorneys across special district, municipal, and civil litigation matters and plays a key part in delivering effective, efficient, and client‑focused legal services.
As a core member of the litigation team, the paralegal will partner closely with attorneys, practice support, vendors, and administrative teams to manage cases from inception through trial and appeal. The position offers hands‑on responsibility, sophisticated work, and the opportunity to support high‑impact matters across the firm’s public agency and civil litigation clients.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently manage litigation matters and anticipate attorney needs throughout all case phases
- Interpret and apply civil procedure, rules of court, local rules, discovery statutes, and appellate procedure
- Perform e‑discovery tasks, including document review, privilege review, redactions, and privilege log preparation
- Conduct legal research using Westlaw, HeinOnline, CEB, Rutter Guides, and related resources
- Perform cite checking, proofreading, and Bluebook review for briefs and other filings
- Prepare memoranda, deposition summaries, transcript reviews, and document summaries
- Support law and motion practice, including drafting, assembling exhibits, and coordinating filings and service
- Maintain organized case records and ensure accurate docketing
- Participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Support all aspects of trial, including technology management, exhibit preparation, witness coordination, voir dire support, jury research, and demonstrative preparation
- Assist with post‑litigation tasks such as judgments, cost memoranda, fee motions, and collections
- Supervise junior paralegals as needed and contribute to performance evaluations
Compensation & Benefits
• Expected annual salary range: $90,000 to $95,000, non‑exempt, depending on experience and location
- Billable expectation: 1500 hours annually (including pro bono and approved non‑billable work)
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, and paid time off
- CLE support and reimbursement for required paralegal certifications
- Overtime opportunities and premium pay for after‑hours trial support
Candidate Requirements
• At least 5 years of litigation paralegal experience
- Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience)
- Paralegal certificate from an ABA‑approved program or qualification under California B&P Code Sections 6450–6456
- Strong research skills and advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and litigation technology platforms
- Experience supporting trials and managing complex litigation workflows
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
