Accounts Payable Specialist

$28.00 - $32.00 per Hour
- Process accounts payable invoices promptly and accurately.
- Handle batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions efficiently.
- Weekly reconciliation and recording of receipt entries using accounting software (e.g., Concur).
- Act as the primary contact for accounts payable inquiries from both internal and external sources.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with vendors and internal departments.
- Enhance accounts payable processes to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.
- Collaborate with various departments to conduct ad-hoc analyses supporting business and departmental growth.
- Reconcile vendor accounts by verifying monthly statements and transactions.
- Organize and maintain accounting documents, records, and reports.
- Resolve issues related to invoice processing.
- Support the accounting department and supervisor with additional tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred.
- Three or more years of experience in accounts payable, managing high volume.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on customer service.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve issues.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Excel and Word. Advanced Excel skills required.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed based on workflow, deadlines, and special projects.
- Temporary to hire.
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Hybrid after training in Lynnwood, WA.
