If so, LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking for a Junior Accountant to join the team in Milpitas, California. Position Overview: As a Junior Accountant with Accounts Payable experience, you will play a crucial role in our finance department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting financial reporting activities. This role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to grow their career in accounting, work within a collaborative team, and contribute to the financial success of our organization. Responsibilities:
  • Process vendor invoices and expense reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain necessary approvals and documentation for payments.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Assist with audits by providing relevant documentation and explanations.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in accounts payable or general accounting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Quick learner with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with relevant accounting regulations and principles is a plus.
Experience: 1 year of accounting experience preferably Accounts Payable (Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Payable Clerk, Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk)
