LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail?oriented and highly organized Legal Assistant in Minneapolis, MN to provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and the legal team. The Legal Assistant will play a key role in maintaining efficient legal operations by managing documents, coordinating communications, assisting with legal research, and ensuring deadlines and filings are met accurately and on time.

Title: Legal Assistant
Type: Direct Hire, Permanent
Location: Minneapolis, MN

Compensation will vary upon experience:
  • Entry: $50,000 - $55,000
  • Mid: $60,000 - $65,000
  • Senior: $65,000 - $70,000

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys and legal staff
  • Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, correspondence, contracts, and pleadings
  • Organize, maintain, and manage physical and electronic legal files and records
  • Assist with legal research and fact?gathering as directed by attorneys
  • Coordinate court filings, including electronic and physical submissions
  • Track deadlines, court dates, and key case milestones to ensure timely compliance
  • Communicate professionally with clients, courts, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • Schedule meetings, hearings, depositions, and appointments
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Support case preparation for hearings, trials, and internal legal reviews

Qualifications
  • 1+ years' experience in a legal setting preferred
  • Previous experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or administrative assistant in a legal environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and document formatting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast?paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal case management systems
  • High level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Experience with electronic court filing systems
  • Experience supporting corporate legal departments, contracts, or compliance functions


Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year
