We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process, from initial investigation and discovery through trial and post-trial proceedings. The Litigation Paralegal will play a critical role in case preparation, document management, legal research, and trial support, ensuring deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.

Title: Litigation Paralegal
Type: Direct Hire, Permanent
Location: Minneapolis, MN (HYBRID)

Compensation will vary upon experience:

  • Entry: $55,000 - $65,000

  • Mid: $70,000 - $85,000

  • Senior: $90,000 - $115,000

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, including pre-trial, trial, settlement, and post-trial matters

  • Draft, review, and proofread litigation documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, subpoenas, and discovery requests and responses

  • Manage the discovery process, including document collection, review, production, and organization

  • Conduct legal research on case law, statutes, court rules, and regulations; summarize findings for attorney review

  • Prepare and organize trial materials, exhibits, witness binders, and trial notebooks

  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances, including scheduling and logistics

  • File documents electronically with state and federal courts and administrative agencies

  • Maintain and manage case calendars, deadlines, and litigation schedules to ensure compliance with court rules

  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third-party vendors as directed by attorneys

  • Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility

  • Assist attorneys during trials and hearings as needed, including courtroom support and exhibit management


Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate from an accredited program preferred but not required

  • 2+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal or in a litigation focused legal support role

  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures, discovery rules, and court filing requirements

  • Proficiency with legal research tools and litigation document management systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with e-discovery platforms and document review workflows

  • Trial and courtroom support experience

  • Familiarity with federal and state court e-filing systems

  • Fast paced, deadline driven litigation environment



Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
