Title-Operations Coordinator

Location: Downtown Minneapolis, MN -100% onsite

Pay: $18-22/hr.

6 month contract

Job Description

Summary

This role focuses on executing key operational tasks with accuracy and efficiency while providing excellent service to customers and carriers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Duties and Responsibilities

With a focus on quality and efficiency, this role includes (but is not limited to) the following tasks:

  • Creating orders, activating shipments, building and assigning loads

  • Scheduling appointments, tracking and tracing shipments

  • Invoicing, updating financials, and processing carrier payments (e.g., T-cheks)

  • Managing order rejections, cancellations, and event resolutions

  • Booking and bouncing loads, executing load builder profiles

  • Monitoring task boards and email accounts for customer/carrier requests

  • Documenting events and following escalation procedures when needed

  • Ensuring customer and carrier satisfaction by resolving issues promptly

  • Validating load data to meet internal and customer standards

  • Performing other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Required:

  • High School diploma or GED

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Associate Operations Coordinator

  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends (for select roles)

  • For external candidates: Minimum 2 years of customer service or logistics experience in a call center

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

  • Strong communication, time management, and prioritization skills

  • Attention to detail and accuracy

  • Experience in a diverse and inclusive work environment


Work Schedule & Environment

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

  • Moderate noise level typical of an office setting


Physical Requirements

  • Frequently lift up to 10 lbs., occasionally up to 25 lbs., and rarely up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, and squat

  • Sit at a desk for extended periods

  • Perform repetitive data entry tasks

  • Work on a computer throughout the day
