We are hiring on behalf of a large, highly automated manufacturing facility seeking an experienced Training Manager to build and scale a best-in-class training function. This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll assess current capabilities, close skills gaps, and design a long-term training strategy that supports operational excellence across a 24/7 environment.
If you thrive in fast-paced manufacturing settings and enjoy creating structure, clarity, and measurable development pathways, this role offers both autonomy and visibility.
Why This Role Stands Out
Lead training strategy for a 300+-employee manufacturing site
Support 7 production lines operating 24/7
Manage and develop 2–4 direct reports
Partner closely with site leadership to align training with performance, safety, and growth
Build systems that scale, not just programs that maintain
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Training Manager, you’ll own the full lifecycle of training and development at the site:
Assess departments, roles, and individual capabilities to identify skills gaps and training needs
Define core competencies and learning paths for each position
Design and implement a site-wide training strategy, including onboarding, cross-training, and progression tracking
Oversee and coach a team of trainers to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
Develop and maintain training matrices, SOPs, and documentation
Roll out standardized training programs across production, maintenance, warehouse, and support functions
Track training effectiveness and employee progression using HRIS and digital tools
Collaborate with HR, operations, and leadership to align training with business goals
Support a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and accountability
Systems & Environment
HRIS: ADP and SuccessFactors

What We’re Looking For

Demonstrated success building training frameworks, competency models, and progression systems
Prior people leadership experience (formal or informal)
