We are supporting a large real estate firm on this direct hire Accounts Receivable Analyst position. This role is open due to growth in the group. The ideal candidate will have worked in commercial real estate and have the below experience. This position offers a hybrid schedule in Midtown Manhattan.


Key Responsibilities

  • Apply cash receipts accurately and reconcile against tenant ledgers

  • Address tenant inquiries, billing questions, and account disputes

  • Perform monthly account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies related to tenant balances, payments, or credits

  • Assist in month‑end close activities including AR aging review, adjustments, and reporting

  • Monitor portfolio AR Aging and prepare summary insights for management review

  • Review lease agreements to confirm billing schedules and charge accuracy

  • Partner with property management teams, leasing, customer service, and accounting for issue resolution and tenant satisfaction


Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Accounts Receivable experience, preferably within real estate or property management

  • Strong understanding of general ledger impacts, payment applications, and account reconciliation

  • Experience with Yardi or MRI a plus

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage tenant relationships with professionalism.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred

  • Experience handling high‑volume transactions and multi‑property portfolios



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $85,000.00 per year
