We are partnering with one of our financial services clients on this exciting Senior Collections Specialist position. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong aptitude for reporting and analytics. You will play a key role in managing collections processes, driving performance improvements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. This role offers a very flexible hybrid schedule with offices located in Manhattan.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collections Management:

    • Oversee and execute end-to-end collections activities for assigned accounts.

    • Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve outstanding balances professionally.

    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all collection efforts.

  • Reporting & Analytics:

    • Develop and maintain detailed reports on collection performance, aging analysis, and recovery trends.

    • Utilize data analytics to identify patterns, forecast outcomes, and recommend process improvements.

    • Present insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Compliance & Process Improvement:

    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and external partners to resolve issues promptly.

    • Provide exceptional customer service while safeguarding company interests.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years in collections within the financial services industry, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with analytics platforms is a plus.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.



Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year
