We are working with a highly regarded law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its SEC department. SEC experience is NOT required—we are looking for strong litigation professionals with Relativity and investigation experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys in litigation and enforcement actions involving government and internal investigations, securities litigation, and commercial disputes.
Manage large volumes of documents, including e-discovery and subpoena responses.
Coordinate with clients, expert witnesses, and regulatory agencies.
Assist with fact development, witness preparation, and trial support.
Draft and proof legal documents, filings, and correspondence.
Perform legal research using PACER, Lexis-Nexis, and other resources.
Utilize Relativity and firm software for document management.
Maintain accurate time records for billable and non-billable tasks.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and ABA-approved paralegal certificate.
Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or equivalent environment.
Strong experience with Relativity and investigation work.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and writing ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools.
Ability to manage multiple complex matters and meet deadlines.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Role
Parking is paid for.
Hybrid (3 days onsite 2 days remote) in Newport Beach, CA.
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $90,000 to $110,000 annual salary and benefits may include medical, dental, vision, and 401k plans.
