Accounts Payable Specialist

$27.00 - $32.00 per Hour

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Accounts Payable Specialist for the corporate office located in Oakland, CA. The job is 100% in-office! You should have at least 3 years of full cycle accounts payable experience. The role will be responsible for handling the AP process, reviewing invoices for accuracy and match appropriately with purchase order or receiver, code invoices, reconcile vendor accounts, code and reconcile expense reports, manage AP payment forecast weekly, verify AP invoices are accurate and have the proper authorization, and assist with other duties and projects as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Strong Accounts Payable experience required
- Industry experience within a non-profit company preferred
  • Software experience with a medium to large ERP system preferred
  • Solid general accounting knowledge knowing your debits and credit
  • Attention to detail, proactive, and organized
  • Team player, helpful, and excellent communications
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Excel - Intermediate, Word & Outlook)
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree would be a plus

Experience: 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
