Title: Senior Business Solution Analyst (Yardi / SQL / SSRS)
Location: Oakland, CA (On-site, near 19th St BART)
Type: Contract (up to ~6 months / 1000 hours; potential extension based on budget/need)
Schedule: Full-time, On-site | Compressed schedule – every other Friday off
About the role
We’re seeking a Senior Business Solution Analyst to support a mission-driven public-sector organization. This role is Business Analyst-heavy with a strong focus on Yardi day-to-day support, SQL querying, and report troubleshooting (Yardi → SQL → SSRS).
You’ll work from a ticket queue, resolve workflow/data issues, and help identify opportunities for system and reporting improvements.
What you’ll do
Provide hands-on Yardi support through a ticketing system
Troubleshoot reporting/data issues by running SQL queries and tracing issues back through Yardi
Resolve invoice/workflow corrections (misrouted invoices, incorrect approvals, etc.)
Gather requirements and document solutions
Draft clear written recommendations/proposals and present findings to leadership
Support change management, testing, and documentation processes
Required qualifications
Senior-level business systems/application support experience
Strong SQL Server querying skills (reporting/troubleshooting focus; not DBA-level)
Experience supporting enterprise web-based business systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
Prior Yardi experience (or similar ERP/property management systems)
SSRS experience
Advanced Excel (O365)
PowerShell exposure
Experience in public-sector or regulated environments
Bilingual (ASL, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish)
Schedule & Environment
On-site in Oakland (near 19th St BART)
Compressed work schedule – every other Friday off

Pay Details: $62.00 to $84.00 per hour
