- Analytical Skills: Ability to evaluate and model deals to ensure they meet financial objectives.
- Collaboration: Strong ability to work with sales, marketing, finance, legal, and other teams.
- Decision-Making: Skilled in making informed decisions and resolving issues independently.
- Training: Experience in developing and delivering training programs.
- Tool Management: Proficiency in managing CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and contracting tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Project Management: Ability to lead and participate in internal projects to improve sales efficiency and deal strategies.
- Compliance: Knowledge of deal governance and compliance policies.
- Support Sales: Act as a key enabler of deal formation and execution, focusing on improving deal velocity and minimizing sales cycle times.
- Evaluate Deals: Analyze and model deals to ensure they align with financial objectives and guidelines.
- Collaborate: Work closely with sales, marketing, legal, finance, and other teams to address deal-related challenges and drive business success.
- Decision Making: Apply knowledge and judgment to make moderately difficult decisions and resolve issues.
- Training: Train sales and other teams on deal strategy processes, policies, and best practices.
- Independent Work: Handle diverse assignments and escalations independently, using seasoned judgment.
- Share Knowledge: Share best practices and provide cross-training to enhance support quality and efficiency.
- Documentation: Ensure all approved requests are properly documented and escalated to the appropriate approval level.
- Monitor Deals: Continuously review deal progression and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure optimal deal cycle times and precise execution.
- Identify Trends: Monitor deal trends to identify gaps and recommend improvements to the deal-making process.
- Lead Projects: Participate in and/or lead projects related to sales efficiency, deal strategy optimization, and proposal building.
- Partner with Leadership: Work with sales and marketing leadership to identify opportunities and provide business insights.
- Enforce Policies: Ensure deal governance and compliance policies are followed.
- Work with Finance: Collaborate with finance to ensure deals have adequate margins and profitability.
- Tool Development: Lead the development, rollout, and training of CRM+CPQ tools and quoting automation.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in deal operations, sales operations, or a related role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM and CPQ tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions independently.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
