LHH is partnering with a national bank on a Financial Reporting Lead search for their Pasadena, CA location. In this job you will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of financial statements and disclosures for SEC reporting. They are looking for someone who comes from either a Big Four with some banking experience OR someone who has banking experience who has worked in a public company. This is a direct hire job that will work onsite in their office and is offering a salary paying between $$120K - $135K + annual discretionary bonus. Here are more details about this job:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and prepare the monthly consolidated financial statement variance analysis for management.

• Participate in the review of external department deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency with SEC filings and internal reports and documents, as well as compliance with SEC rules governing non-GAAP metrics.

• Keep up to date on new innovative accounting and reporting tools and review proposed or alternate accounting and financial reporting processes for efficiency.

• Participate in the review of existing and proposed regulations of the FASB, SEC, and/or other authoritative bodies that formulate or have

QUALIFICATIONS

• They are looking for to either be from public accounting AND have banking experience OR have banking exp OR public accounting and have worked for a public company (in order to get higher salary, they will have to have banking exp

• 5+ years of experience in corporate FP&A and strategic planning WITHIN the financial services and banking industries required

• Strong command of how bank balance sheets work, ALM (asset-liability management) model and fund transfer pricing modeling
