LHH is partnering with a national bank on an Accounting Manager OR Snr Accounting Manager search for their Pasadena, CA location. In this job you will join the leadership team in managing complex accounting functions including deposits, foreign currency, cash management, leases, fixed assets and prepaids. They are looking for someone is progressive in their career who has strong management skills with a public company. This is a direct hire job that will work onsite in their office and is offering a salary paying between $$145K - $180K + annual discretionary bonus. Here are more details about this job:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and manage daily accounting operations and ME close processes

• Deposits, foreign currency transactions cash management, leases, fixed assets, prepaids

• Oversee deposit related regulatory reporting, ensuing accuracy, timeliness and compliance with regulations

• Review and prepare schedules and reports for all stakeholders including Auditors

• Work with non-accounting professionals at the bank - so must be able to talk with all different kinds of staff

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong GAAP and regulatory reporting for financial institutions

• Banking or financial services exp highly preferred but not required

• 7+ Years of exp in public accounting or in a public company preferably in a manager role

• Bachelor's degree required, CPA or MBA preferred
