Accounting Manager

Pay: $110k-$130k DOE

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Manager to lead daily accounting operations and month-end close. This role bridges finance and operations, ensuring accuracy across the general ledger, inventory, and project accounting while improving processes as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Oversee AP/AR and cash forecasting; improve billing processes.
• Partner with production on inventory reconciliation and cost accounting.
• Maintain audit documentation and support tax and compliance filings.
• Supervise accounting team and foster growth and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting (MBA or CMA a plus).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing or project-based environments.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and ERP/MRP system experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and process improvement mindset.

• High attention to detail and clear communication across departments.
• Proven ability to analyze and enhance accounting workflows.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
• Frequent use of computers and office equipment.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.
