Patient Access Specialist (Call Center)
Pay Rate: $19+/hour DOE
Schedule: Multiple shifts available (details provided upon request)
Assignment Type: Temp-to-Hire (based on performance and attendance)
Work Environment: Fully Onsite – no remote opportunities
Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about helping patients access the care they need? Join a growing healthcare team in Central Phoenix as a Patient Access Specialist. This is a high-impact role where accuracy, empathy, and efficiency matter every day.
What You’ll Do:
Perform accurate data entry to create and update patient accounts and cases
Support customer service overflow for other teams
Communicate with medical billers to update patient information
Distribute and manage regulatory documentation
Resolve patient access issues in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
What You Bring:
Strong and accurate data entry skills
Experience in Specialty Pharmacy, Customer Service, or healthcare settings preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based applications
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively under pressure
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
Understanding of patient challenges and healthcare processes
Dependable work ethic and openness to feedback and coaching
