- Contacting B2C customers to discuss and negotiate payment arrangements.
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to ensure timely and effective collection of outstanding debts.
- Analyzing customer financial situations and proposing suitable solutions for debt repayment.
- Investigating and resolving any discrepancies or disputes related to accounts.
- Providing exceptional customer service while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborating with internal teams to gather information and resolve customer issues.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and collection efforts.
- Proven experience as a B2C Collections Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of debt collection laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Proficiency in using collection software and Microsoft Office Suite.
