LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing law firm that is looking to hire a Legal Assistant. This is a full-time in-office position located in Phoenix, AZ. This position is salary depending on experience $65,000-$75,000 benefits include medical, dental, 401k, and more!
The Legal Assistant supports attorneys with administrative tasks and must have prior experience with litigation, e-filing, managing discovery, and preparing for trial motions. Must litigation experience and proficiency in Excel to qualify.
Responsibilities:
Submit weekly time records and expense reports.
Edit and proofreading correspondence, contracts, agreements, and other documents both in draft and in final form
Ensure that files are kept current including classifying, arranging files, filing, and storing information in legal database.
Organize and facilitate daily workflow to meet project deadlines.
Efficiency with calendar management.
Maintain e-mails and documents from attorneys and legal assistants
Act as liaison for all departments and communicate with internal and external clients
Clerical duties
Special projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
3+ years of legal administrative support experience including Litigation
Familiarity with general legal processes
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task
Work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
