- Accurately process and submit medical claims to insurance companies.
- Review and verify patient billing information for accuracy and completeness.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients to resolve billing issues.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Generate and analyze billing reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in medical billing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller in a healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of medical billing procedures, insurance guidelines, and coding.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in medical billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
