Contract Duration: 3–6 months with potential extension
A leading healthcare organization in Phoenix is seeking a skilled Medical Collector to join their revenue cycle team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in medical billing and collections who are ready to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct follow-up on outstanding insurance claims and patient balances
- Resolve claim denials and discrepancies with payers
- Maintain accurate documentation in billing systems
- Communicate with patients regarding balances and payment plans
- Minimum 1 year of experience in medical collections or healthcare accounts receivable
- Familiarity with EOBs, CPT/ICD-10 codes, and payer guidelines
- Proficiency in EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
