Role Overview
LHH is seeking an experienced Sr. Data Engineer to advance the data infrastructure and play a critical role in shaping the department’s long-term data strategy, collaborating across departments to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain data pipelines leveraging Redshift and modern ETL tools
- Design and maintain data models for reporting, segmentation, and forecasting
- Build and support Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) for identity resolution and data activation
- Apply hybrid data warehousing methodologies (Kimball, Inmon) for scalable structures
- Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance with CCPA/GDPR
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data solutions
- Contribute to long-term architecture decisions and optimize cloud infrastructure
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data infrastructure and practices
- Ensure all pipelines and models align with data privacy and security regulations
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in data engineering with Redshift or similar cloud data warehouses
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools
- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (Segment, StellarAlgo, KORE Helix, Agilitek Fan Data Platform, etc.)
- Expertise with modern data stack tools (DBT, Airflow, AWS services)
- Experience architecting and optimizing data pipelines for BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Proficiency with version control (Git/GitHub) and collaborative development practices
- Experience optimizing cloud data infrastructure for cost and performance
- Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines and API/microservices integration
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
- Previous experience defining success metrics such as pipeline uptime, data freshness, and activation ROI
- Industry experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 5+ years of data engineering experience with a strong focus on cloud data warehouses
