Position: Director of Audit, Global Trade Compliance
Compensation: $185-205K + 40% bonus

  • 7% retirement

Open: Newly Created role to create separation of duties
Reports to: CAO
Team: Will have a team of 2 Auditors
Hours/Schedule: 40-50 hours per week
Travel: 20-30%

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the internal controls focused on the Trade Compliance Program

  • Conduct Risk Assessment and build the audit plan, draft audit procedures, and carry ongoing audits to test controls for GTC

  • Review policy, procedures, controls and documentation of Trade compliance teams, including assessing the adherence to company policy and the mitigation of risk

  • Execute the audit plan including annual adjustment to business needs

  • Verification of execution phase we are currently in, then create the risk assessment to guide the go-forward for 2026 audit plan.

  • Review Import/Export, ITAR, EAR

  • Develop and train the team to support department goals

  • Partner with Division Compliance teams in multiple locations to support remediation efforts as needed


We are looking for:

  • Senior Manager or Director level of experience

  • Has created and executed Audit Program external to or in a separate parallel team to the GTC team

  • Experience in a large company, working with military clients to have had ITAR compliance knowledge

  • Import/Export Compliance experience

  • BS in relatable field and 10+ years of experience in Audit and Trade Compliance
