Job Title: HR Generalist

Duration: 3–6 months
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
Pay: $30–$35 per hour, DOE

Position Overview:

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary 3–6 month contract to support our Non-Profit client's onsite HR operations in Portland. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, adaptable professional with a strong background in HR processes and employee relations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to make an immediate impact.




Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes

  • Support employee relations and respond to HR inquiries

  • Administer benefits and payroll support

  • Maintain HR records and ensure compliance with company policies

  • Coordinate training sessions and support performance management

  • Help with HR projects and process improvements as needed



Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Available to start immediately and work onsite in Portland



Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
