LHH is working with a fantastic firm who is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal with extensive experience in medical malpractice litigation to join their legal team. This role involves supporting attorneys through all phases of complex litigation, with a strong emphasis on case management, calendaring, and electronic filing.
Key Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in managing medical malpractice cases from intake through resolution
Conduct legal research and organize medical records and expert materials
Prepare and file legal documents via eFiling in state and federal courts
Maintain detailed case files and manage deadlines using legal calendaring systems
Coordinate depositions, discovery responses, and trial preparation
Communicate with clients, medical professionals, and court personnel
Skilled in all aspects of document management
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in medical malpractice litigation
Strong understanding of case management and litigation procedures
Proficiency in eFiling systems and court rules in OR/WA
Experience with calendar management and legal scheduling tools
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Must be comfortable with billable hours
