About the Role

LHH is proactively seeking experienced Senior Software Developers who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications. This role is ideal for developers who thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy solving complex problems with elegant code.

As a Senior Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating software applications. You’ll play a key role in shaping system architecture and ensuring that our solutions meet both current and future business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and develop new features.

  • Coordinate with developers, analysts, and UX designers to deliver high-quality software.

  • Solve complex problems using design patterns and best practices.

  • Lead bug fixing and performance optimization efforts.

  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.

  • Independently set up development environments and guide team members.

  • Create system design diagrams and documentation for coding, testing, and debugging.

  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on development progress.

Required Skills

  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Project management capabilities and ability to lead technical initiatives.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Java development.

  • Experience with Kotlin is a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, general cloud architecture).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and writing testable code.

  • Proficiency with Git and Bitbucket.

  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design patterns.

  • Experience working in Agile/SCRUM environments.

Pay Details: $135,000-$155,000 plus bonus

Location: Portland Metro area- On-site only

Schedule: Monday- Friday



Pay Details: $135,000.00 to $155,000.00 per year
