Systems Engineer
Salary Range: $80,000 – $125,000 per year (DOE)
Location: Portland, OR

About the Role

At LHH, we are proactively recruiting top Systems Engineering talent to meet the evolving needs of our clients in the Portland Metro area. As a Systems Engineer, you’ll be matched with forward-thinking organizations that value robust and scalable IT infrastructure as a business priority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain IT systems and infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Ensure system security and data integrity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations
  • Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve system efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in systems engineering or IT infrastructure roles
  • Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications (e.g., MCSE, RHCE, CompTIA Server+)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell)

Compensation

Salary Range: $80,000 – $125,000 per year (DOE)
Other Compensation: May include stock options or profit sharing, depending on the client
