LHH is currently recruiting for an HR Administrative Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity in Princeton, IN.
This fully onsite role offers a unique schedule—3pm to 11pm—ideal for those who prefer working afternoons and evenings. You’ll work closely with the HR Director, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of HR functions, making it a great stepping stone for someone looking to grow their career in Human Resources.
Compensation: $20–$21/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Support employee relations by assisting with interviews, investigations, and documentation.
Participate in disciplinary meetings, terminations, and drug screenings.
Maintain accurate employee records and assist with HR reporting.
Track attendance and support training initiatives.
Conduct internal interviews and assist with hiring processes.
Help implement programs to improve employee engagement and retention.
Conduct surveys including stay and exit interviews.
Travel occasionally to a nearby manufacturing site as needed.
Regularly walk the facility to support HR visibility and employee engagement.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in HR is a plus.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be comfortable with frequent walking throughout the facility.
Additional Details:
Contract-to-hire position.
Fully onsite in Princeton, IN.
Schedule: 3pm–11pm, Monday–Friday.
Must be open to occasional travel to a nearby location.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
