Accounts Payable Specialist:
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Purcell OK
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: CFO
Job Summary: The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing all invoices received for payment and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices and payment requests.
Payment Management: Prepare and execute payments via checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
Vendor Relations: Communicate with vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and complete records of all accounts payable transactions.
Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accounts payable reports and analyses.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
Education: No degree required
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
