Summary: LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a dynamic Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team in a small company environment. This role is pivotal in maintaining the professionalism and smooth operation of our office. Accountability, flexibility, and a proactive attitude to undertake tasks beyond the scope of traditional reception duties are highly valued. Responsibilities:
  1. Kitchen Related:
    • Prepare the kitchen in the morning for daily use, including making coffee and hot water.
    • Operate the dishwasher as needed.
    • Ensure the kitchen is cleaned at the end of the day.
  2. Reception Duties:
    • Answer incoming calls and redirect them appropriately.
    • Greet guests and provide assistance as required.
  3. Mail & Deliveries:
    • Handle outgoing and incoming mail and deliveries.
  4. Building Maintenance:
    • Manage work orders for building-related issues such as light bulbs, hot water, and HVAC.
    • Communicate important notices from the building manager to staff.
  5. Plant Care:
    • Water plants bi-monthly to maintain their health.
  6. Administrative Support:
    • Send birthday cards to clients and order birthday gifts.
    • Organize and execute company events 1-2 times per year.
    • Replenish office and kitchen supplies as needed.
    • Ensure conference rooms are clean and stocked after each meeting.
    • Run errands such as picking up lunches and dry cleaning.
  7. Team Support:
    • Organize and coordinate monthly team lunches.
    • Assist with projects, research, and clerical tasks as needed.
    • Book travel and accommodations for team members.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and tasks.
Details:
  • Employment type: Contract to Hire
  • Compensation: $42,000 – $45,000 annually
  • Work hours: 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
