Position: Customer Service Associate (Temp to Perm)

Location: Mahwah, NJ (On-site, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay: $21 an hour


Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound phone calls and eCommerce chats from customers in a timely, professional manner.

  • Develop rapport with potential clients and maintain effective communication with customers and the sales team.

  • Follow up on requests from sales representatives or customers as needed.

  • Solve customer problems promptly and professionally.

  • Respond to incoming texts from the sales force.

  • Liaise with Accounts Receivable, Shipping, and other internal departments.

  • Process customer credits for returned goods and billing issues.

  • Enter and modify orders in the system, including pricing and quantities.

  • Provide customer account information to customers and sales managers.

  • Request or instruct special shipping instructions as needed.

  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.


Skills & Competencies

  • Proficient with computer systems, including SAP, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and internet applications.

  • Strong product knowledge and organizational skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to remain objective and professional in stressful situations.

  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.

  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and goal-oriented team player.

  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and maintaining attention to detail.

Education & Training

  • Associate degree preferred.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
