Accountant

Rancho Cordova, CA (Onsite)

Are you looking to join a wonderful small team as the main accountant supporting with payroll processing? Do you have experience being an accounting leader and using QuickBooks online? We are looking for a wonderful Accountant or Full Charge Bookkeeper for an excellent opportunity in Rancho Cordova, CA. This role could be either a direct hire opportunity or a contract-to-hire. It was be perfect for someone with at least 5 years of accounting experience, payroll processing experience, and QuickBooks online software experience. Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of bookkeeping including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) accounting

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements

• Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting

• Maintain and update QuickBooks Online records

• Support tax preparation and liaise with external accountants

• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper, Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant or similar role

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online

• Strong understanding of payroll processing and related regulations

• Solid knowledge of AP, AR, and GL accounting

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Strong communication skills
