The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financing, corporate, leasing and commercial real estate development, as well as the ability to handle other transactional matters. The candidate will possess exceptional academic credentials and will have superb research, writing, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• 1600 billable hour per year requirement.

• Draft, review, and negotiate purchasing agreements.

• Represent a variety of clients that include both sellers and purchasers.

• Oversee the entire financing process in real estate transactions.

• Work within an overlap of business and creditors’ rights practice groups.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school (University of Richmond grads prioritized).

• 4+ years of experience with commercial real estate.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Lender’s counsel representation is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience ($130K - $165K).

• Bonus-eligible after achieving billable target of 1600 hours per year.
