Part-Time Senior Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Riverside
Pay: $27–$31/hour, based on experience
Schedule: Part-Time (2 days/week, 8 hours/day) total 16 hours weekly
Work Environment: Fully Onsite
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to support day-to-day AP operations in a part-time, fully onsite role. This position requires a hands-on professional who can manage full-cycle accounts payable with accuracy, efficiency, and minimal oversight. The ideal candidate will bring strong Excel skills and ERP experience, with Epicor highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Handle full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice entry, matching, coding, and approvals
Manage weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments
Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger and assist with month-end close
Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely, professional manner
Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements
Support process improvements and documentation of AP procedures
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams as needed
Qualifications
5+ years of accounts payable experience in a senior or lead capacity
Epicor ERP experience strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis)
Strong understanding of AP best practices and internal controls
High attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a part-time schedule
Preferred Background
Experience in manufacturing or aerospace industries
Exposure to month-end close and audit support
Experience with process improvements or system enhancements
Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
