LHH is working with a manufacturing client based in the Greater Detroit Area that is looking to hire an Oracle ERP focused IT Business Architect to join their team for a Direct Hire position. The role will require 100% onsite at their HQ in the Greater Detroit area.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of Oracle ERP experience and is more of an Architect than a Business Analyst.

Our client is open to relocation (and will pay relocation expenses to get you here) if not local to Detroit. Candidates MUST be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder to be considered as our client can’t sponsor at this time.

Our client is seeking a strategic and experienced Business Architect to lead enterprise-wide process transformation and business improvement initiatives. This role will work closely with senior business leaders and the Global IT Director to design and implement best-in-class business models that align process, technology, and strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with global business process leaders and senior stakeholders to drive transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Define and communicate the organization’s target operating model (“Vision”), integrating processes, technology, and people to enhance performance and scalability.

  • Guide Oracle e-Business Suite process transformations using deep business process knowledge and industry best practices.

  • Provide strategic oversight across large-scale, cross-functional Oracle EBS processes including Product Lifecycle Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Manufacturing, Finance, and CRM.

  • Maintain a holistic view across multiple process improvement initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment across business functions.

  • Bridge business strategy and technology execution to ensure solutions meet both operational and enterprise goals.

  • Support operations and departmental leaders in executing transformation initiatives with structure and alignment to business objectives.

  • Translate complex business challenges into actionable process and technology solutions using strong analytical and strategic thinking.

  • Oversee Oracle ERP project lifecycles including planning, scope, budget, timelines, resources, and delivery, while providing regular updates to the Global IT Director.

  • Act as a liaison between IT and business management teams to facilitate communication, collaboration, and consensus.

  • Identify innovation opportunities and align IT solutions with long-term business strategy.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of IT experience in Oracle ERP, Financials, or Manufacturing environments across diverse industries.

  • Proven expertise in end-to-end business process flows including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, demand-to-build, financials, and CRM.

  • Demonstrated success in leading IT-enabled business transformation projects.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills; able to work cross-functionally and independently within a high-performing team.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with a self-driven approach, integrity, and professionalism.

  • PMP certification preferred.



Pay Details: $110,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
