ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR - SACRAMENTO, CA


Hi there!


We are actively looking to add an Accounting Administrator to our expanding team in our Sacramento, CA office!


We’re a well-established construction firm and due to growth in our company combined with a regular employee going on an extended leave we need to add to our staff to help our sustained growth and improve our accounting functionality overall!


Please keep in mind that this is a bit of a hybrid role that would require the candidate to have exposure to general accounting functions as this position would support other areas of need in our department along with handling various front of house and back of house administrative/general office duties!

  • This is a contract position which we estimate will last 4-6 months (though there is a strong possibility of converting to long term based on various factors)


  • The compensation for this role ranges from $28.00-$32.00/hour


  • We are currently working an onsite schedule in our Sacramento, CA office

Responsibilities



  • Performs one or more routine administrative and accounting clerical operations, such as: examining, verifying and correcting accounting transactions


  • Ensures completeness and accuracy of data and proper identification of accounts


  • Performs data input into a variety of fiscal, procurement and function specific spreadsheets and databases


  • Some external phone communication with clients, field employees and vendors as needed


  • Perform administrative duties as needed


Qualifications



  • 2 years of administrative experience or a degree in accounting


  • Construction accounting experience a huge plus


  • Must be a fast learner with an eye for detail


  • Must embrace the spirit of teamwork and be able to multitask various duties


  • Must be a critical thinker with the ability to resolve non-routine issues


  • Must be willing to accept and adapt to rapid changes in assigned work tasks


  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills


  • Professional demeanor


  • Ability to work with minimal supervision


  • Sage 300 (Timberline) experience a huge plus
