Hi there!
We are actively looking to add an excellent Accounts Payable Specialist to our team in our Sacramento, CA regional office! We are a well-established specialty mechanical contractor with multiple locations throughout California and are looking for someone well-versed in accounts payable, ideally in the construction industry.
We've built a very collaborative team here over the years so skills in other areas of accounting would be a bonus for us as well. Our ideal candidate would be someone adaptable who enjoys taking on challenges as our business (and industry) is growing rapidly! Our team is very grounded as we have many well-tenured employees so we're excited to bring on someone new!
This is a direct-hire position (no contract period) and we work fully on-site.
The compensation for the role is 50k-58k per year DOE (there may be a bit of flex upward for a candidate with all of our 'nice to haves'. We are currently working an on-site schedule in our Sacramento office.

General Job Duties
Setting up new vendors (W9 and compliance items)
Matching invoices with AP checks
Mailing checks
Reconciling statements
Review and record accounts payable invoices which include: Overhead, Subcontractor, Purchase Order, Reimbursement, Monthly Auto Allowance and Garnishment Invoices
Requirements
Two years of accounts payable experience (willing to flex if there if there are other construction-related skills such as lien releases, cert payroll, etc.)
MUST have truly excellent communication (external and internal, written and verbal)
MUST enjoy a fast-paced, collaborative environment... we have a lot going on!
MUST have excellent typing and 10-key skills
Construction industry experience very nice to have
Viewpoint Software experience very nice to have
