Construction Billing Specialist
Sacramento, CA (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit invoices based on project contracts, change orders, and work completed.
Generate monthly billing packages including pay applications, schedules of values, affidavits, and lien waivers.
Ensure invoices comply with contract requirements and client specifications.
Submit invoices via customer portals or email and track billing status.
Maintain organized billing records and archive billing history in the accounting system.
Collaborate with project managers and clients to resolve billing discrepancies.
Assist with month-end close and reporting related to billing.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
Experience: 1+ year of billing experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
Familiarity with AIA billing and construction documentation processes.
Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
