Are you passionate about providing exceptional customer service in the healthcare industry? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are looking for a Customer Service Representative I to be the primary point of contact for our valued members and providers. Your dedication will ensure that all interactions are prompt, effective, and focused on meeting their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately recording and referring appeals and grievances according to department protocols and procedures.
Educating our members on our Referral Program, our company website, and the self-service tools available online.
Assisting members, providers, brokers, and plan partners with claims-related billing questions and issues as needed.
Collaborating with inter and intra-department staff to resolve member issues promptly and efficiently.
Managing difficult or emotional customer situations, responding promptly to customer needs, and continuously seeking customer feedback to improve our service.
Reporting any system problems or call drivers requiring immediate attention to the Member Service Supervisor or Manager.
Interacting with clients, the public, and other stakeholders with tact, discretion, and courtesy in the course of your work.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:
A High School Diploma.
A minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in a call center.
A minimum of 1 year of previous experience working in the healthcare industry, specifically HMO is required
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic mail, routine databases, word processing, spreadsheets, and software such as Salesforce and Genesis.
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, enhancing our ability to serve a diverse community.
Pay Details: $18.00 to $21.00 per hour
