LHH partnered with a local company to recruit for an Inventory Coordinator in Sacramento, CA.


Inventory Quality Assurance Technician


Location: Woodland, CA


Responsibilities:



  • Handle Axapta submissions, updating work order operations, printing bin tags and sample envelopes, seed sampling, and preparing samples.


  • Review work orders and receiver reports to determine which samples are needed and the submission parameters.


  • Label germination update samples after submission.


  • Conduct seed count and seed moisture analysis.


  • Enter seed count and moisture test results into the ERP system.


  • Organize, record, and ship samples to third-party testing laboratories.


  • Maintain open communication with the Operations Manager, QC Manager, and all Operations staff to address identified issues.


  • Collaborate with Operations teams in Milling, Inventory, and QA to set priorities and ensure timely information flow to all departments.


  • Assist in documenting sampling matrix and procedures for this role.


  • Maintain database material and sample plan tables as required.


  • Support other Logistics workstations or company departments as directed by the supervisor or Lead.


  • Keep a clean and organized workstation. Proactively help maintain cleanliness throughout the warehouse.


  • Ensure compliance with SAI, State, and Federal Safety requirements. Promote company programs to reduce injuries, lost time, product loss, and damage.


  • Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor or Lead as needed.


  • Adhere to all SAI quality assurance policies and procedures.


  • Attend mandatory training on GSPP handling protocols and procedures.


  • Implement GSPP handling protocols and procedures when dealing with GSPP seeds.


  • Actively participate in the GSPP Program by conducting the following activities related to GSPP seeds: Seed Sampling


Qualifications:



  • Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under time constraints and deadlines are essential.


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.


  • Excellent analytical skills and mechanical aptitude are necessary.


  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities are a must.


  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.


  • Willingness to learn the technical aspects of seed treating, cleaning, and packaging processes is essential.


  • Ability to safely operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on forklifts and other warehouse machinery and equipment is necessary.


  • Must be able to read and understand written instructions in English.


  • Must be capable of obtaining a Qualified Applicator Certificate.


  • Ability to manage stress, particularly when facing necessary projects, deadlines, and/or a high workload.
