Position: Medical Office Admin
Address: West Sacramento
Hours: M-F, 6am-2:30pm

Job Description:
This is secretarial/receptionist work including typing, file maintenance and organizational duties.
It requires the ability to relate with staff and patients and to facilitate those tasks associated with intake, scheduling patient appointments and maintaining admissions records. This is a fast-paced position. The Administrative Assistant must take direction from multiple supervisors, and be detail-oriented.
Work is performed under the direction of the Clinic Manager, directors, intake coordinator and requires that the incumbent work independently to promote the efficient flow of patients through the clinic process and staff needs.

Greets all patients and visitors promptly and professionally.
Types documents and correspondences as requested.
Coordinates and schedules intakes, psychiatric, and AHP appointments.
Maintains administrative files (if psych, buprenorphine receptionist, maintains those files/EHR).
Handles high-volume phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
Maintains a high level of confidentiality with patient information and checks patient IDs.
Responds to requests with a high level of customer service.
Collects and links all required patient documents and history for intakes in EHR.
Greets, screens, and directs all incoming individuals to appropriate staff.
Backs up fiscal and other administrative functions as needed.
Performs support activities as required.
Determines applicant eligibility and inform potential patients about all programs and alternative forms of treatment.
Coordinates flow of information between counseling, medical and fiscal staff.
Completes discharge QA.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour
