Seasonal Tax Preparer – Hybrid | Saline, MI

LHH Recruitment Solutions is supporting a financial services client in Saline, MI, in their search for a skilled Seasonal Tax Preparer. This is a temporary W2 position, ideal for experienced tax professionals seeking a dynamic and flexible work environment during tax season.

Position Details:

  • Job Title: Seasonal Tax Preparer

  • Location: Saline, MI (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

  • Type: Temporary (January–April)

  • Compensation: $35–$50 per hour, dependent on experience

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review individual and small business tax returns

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

  • Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and clarify tax-related questions

  • Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality standards

  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and client expectations

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience preparing tax returns required

  • CPA or Enrolled Agent designation ideal

  • Strong knowledge of current tax laws and regulations

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency with tax preparation software preferred
