Senior Accounts Payable Specialist in Sorrento Valley, CA

LHH is looking to fill a Direct Hire Senior Accounts Payable Specialist Job in Sorrento Valley, CA. This client is very well-known locally, and is looking for someone capable of functioning in a high-volume setting. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE SENIOR AP SPECIALIST JOB

· Processing Accounts Payable, full cycle – 300+ weekly invoices

· Coding and batching various invoices and process expense reports

· Obtain and verify approval of invoices prior to payment

· Manage month-end close for payables – all related accruals and journal entries

QUALIFICATIONS

· Intermediate skill with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot tables are a plus)

· Minimum of three years of Accounts Payable experience

· Experience using ERP software

· Willingness to help with admin duties
