Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong construction background and a knack for keeping projects organized and on track? We're looking for a Construction Administrative Assistant to join our client's team in San Diego, CA, where you'll play a key role in supporting project operations from bid to closeout. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative team that’s committed to long-term growth and success in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

Position Details
  • Employment Type: Direct Hire
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA
  • Pay: $25–$30 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of bid preparation and submission
  • Handle RFIs and submittals throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and accurate documentation
  • Draft, review, and maintain contracts, change orders, and subcontractor agreements
  • Assist with billing, invoice tracking, and budget monitoring
  • Monitor compliance with project requirements, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and documentation
  • Maintain organized records of permits, insurance certificates, and project files
  • Support procurement and vendor management processes
  • Prepare reports and updates for internal teams and clients
  • Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory standards

Qualifications
  • Construction industry experience is required
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new platforms quickly
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced office environment
